Reduce Energy Consumption

Switching to LED can reduce energy consumption by up to 80%, reducing associated carbon taxes and significantly reducing maintenance costs. Paybacks from a year upwards have been delivered as a result of the projects we have undertaken.

Outside the commercial benefits, these highly efficient products will significantly reduce the amount of carbon produced, supporting your progress towards Net Zero targets, adding to the business case and making an Assured LED solution a compelling proposition.

With a wealth of experience and expertise, we have scoped and delivered LED retrofit projects across a large number of university sites resulting in the upgrade of over 100,000 fittings to LED. Our proven process delivers projects on time and on budget, along with building in other considerations outside pure energy savings – for example making good in areas when required. Our process will define the scope of a project – include surveys and write ups – building the business case – design – delivery and installation – commissioning – project sign off.

Human Centric Circadian Lighting & Commissioning

Human Centric Lighting (HCL), also known as circadian lighting, supports human health, well-being and performance through deterministic and holistic planning and implementation of the visual, emotional and, in particular, biological effects of light. Studies have shown that use of circadian lighting can improve health, well-being, human performance, rest and sleep. Changing light is the primary trigger for keeping our circadian rhythms on track.

We have delivered and commissioned HCL in over 2000 student bedrooms. The focus is to give the student control of their room lighting and to be able to do this via an app on their smart device, securely connected to the light(s) in their room. The occupant can turn on/off, dim, as well as control the colour temperature from 2700k up 6500k.

Higher kelvin colour temperatures support and promote alertness, particularly beneficial when studying, whereas lower kelvin colour temperatures aid relaxation during the later hours which results in better sleep experience. Combined use of kelvin colour control can lead to better overall academic attainment through the improvement of your bodies circadian rhythms. This is also supports improved ‘student experience’ as well as the aesthetic and asset value of a facility.

External Lighting

To compliment the extensive internal lighting projects we have delivered at a number of locations, Assured have designed a wide range of external lighting schemes across: Roadways, Pathways, Car Parking, External Facades, Exterior Building Lighting and many more. All of our projects are delivered as per compliant lighting designs and schemes to create well lit environments that feel safe and secure, whilst also taking in to account environmental and wildlife considerations.
